Crashdummy is the online portfolio of Anika Flade.
She is a Barcelona based Motion Graphic Artist, Illustrator, Director and Animator with many years experience in design and graphics production within live broadcast and post production environments.
 
Her elegant and versatile design work has for many years been featured around the globe and she has so far worked with high profile clients and channels in Germany, England, Spain and the United States.
 
Her career kicked off at BSKYB in London where she worked on Channel 4's Breakfast Show RI:SE, took on the challenge of SKY NEWS and has worked as a successful member of the SKY MOVIES team on numerous idents, promos, channel rebrands and sponsorships. During this time she has contributed to many award-winning projects and has won two Promax Awards, the latest one being Gold in North America.
 
After her move to Spain in 2006 (Barcelona) she worked with clients such as TV3, Td8, Cuatro, Triacom, Mercury, MediaPro, M-Stars and Estrella Damm. She then started working for LaSexta as a Senior Designer and has created promos for well-known programs and series such as Prison Break, Bones, Navy and Buenafuente amongst others.
 
She has always kept a passion for her personal and freelance projects such as the branding of the Digital Design Festival ART FUTURA  in Barcelona which showed her trailers and designs around the festival and on major TV channels across Spain. She also designed the titles and video beds of the spanish pavillion for the EXPO ZARAGOZA with the theme “Water and sustainable development”.
 
To prove her playful and experimental nature, she created her animated short film ‘LOVE ME’ which has been recognized at major Animation Festivals around the world - she held a TV interview for the spanish Film Channel ‘Filmets’ about the film and her art work.
 
Beside her broadcast work, Anika has been freelancing with digital design agency Pod1 in London and New York for the past 8 years and has been working with exciting clients such as Kenneth Cole, John Varvatos, Philip Stein, Catherine Malandrino, Links of London & many more.
